The Mission and Vision Statement for Women’s Ministry
Women’s Ministry’s mission at Woodland Anglican chapel is to know and follow Jesus. Our vision is to promote an authentic community of women who are ever growing in intimacy with God, who care for and love others well, and who are equipped and encouraged to share the gospel and their gifts within their spheres of influence. We accomplish this by providing discipleship opportunities and community life where women can come to faith in Jesus Christ, grow into maturity through the study of the Bible, and are transformed by His Word and Holy Spirit into the likeness of Jesus.
God’s Word is alive and active and invites us to know Him in a deeper way. Proverbs 30:5 says, “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” When we study God’s Word we find truth, hope and real help, especially in this difficult season.
