Dr. Leslye Morrison

Dr. Morrison serves at the Head of School for the Northern Neck Christian School and was raised in Tallahassee, Florida.  After receiving her B.S. in art education, she taught art in elementary, high school and college.  After receiving her M.S in instructional design she and her husband Bart moved to Virginia where she joined the Department of Defense (DoD) with a career in education and training.  In 1999 she was selected to be in the Defense Leadership and Management Program (DLAMP).  The DLAMP selected her to attend the National War College where she earned a M.S. in National Security Strategy.  She also earned a Ph.D. in education from George Mason University.  She has led music programs in many churches, and developed bell choirs for children, youth and adults.  She enjoys designing and creating stained glass, and exploring the many ways epoxy resin can be made into art.

Leslye and Bart have three children, Mat, who currently lives in Thailand, Andy who lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife Shinta and Brad who lives in Sarasota, Florida
